Aiden Leos’ killers won’t be executed by California, which leaves one possibility…

Last Friday morning, a 6-year-old boy was killed in a random road rage incident here in Orange County, California. Apparently his mother flipped an obnoxious driver off which appears to be a modern-day summons to duel.

A 6-year-old Costa Mesa boy was killed in a road rage shooting on the 55 Freeway in the city of Orange Friday morning. The gunman is still at large.

The shooting occurred sometime between 7:55 a.m. and 8:15 a.m. on the northbound 55 Freeway near Chapman Avenue, California Highway Patrol Officer Florentino Olvera told reporters at a briefing late Friday morning.

“We did have what was an apparent isolated road rage incident,” Olvera said. “It’s not related to the window shatterings we’ve been having lately, completely isolated.”

The boy’s mother was driving north on the freeway in a silver Chevrolet sedan, with her son in the back in a booster seat, when the road rage and shooting occurred.

Officers responded and rushed the boy by ambulance to Children’s Hospital of Orange County, where he died.

The boy, Aiden Leos, was on his way to kindergarten during Friday’s rush hour when the suspect car pulled up and shots rang out. Images of the car were released to the press with Wild West language issuing from the OC DA, Todd Spitzer.

The California Highway Patrol released an image of the suspect vehicle in the road rage shooting death of Aiden Leos, 6. The suspects were described as a male passenger, who allegedly opened fire, and a woman who was driving.

“As we understand it, the male pulled the trigger,” Orange County District Attorney Todd Spitzer (R) said on Thursday, according to The Orange County Register. “You killed a little boy. A little boy who today should be in kindergarten. You’re going through immense guilt and consternation about what you did and you don’t know what to do about it.”

Spitzer addressed the female driver, telling her she needed to turn herself in, and she was an accomplice. Spitzer laid down an ultimatum for the unidentified suspects, saying they had 24 hours to turn themselves in before he came down with “the full effect of the law.”

I write this about 9:15am on Saturday and it’s been 24 hours.

I’m waiting for that promised “full effect.”  There is no such thing as a full effect for criminals in this bleeding heart state where the capital punishment goes unheeded. Spitzer’s Wild West threats fall on deaf ears here in the Golden State.

The suspect vehicle is described as apparently being a white Volkswagen Golf Sportswagen with non-tinted windows. It appears to be a 2018 or 2019 model, with an unknown license plate, said the CHP. After the shooting, it went northbound on SR-55 to eastbound SR-91 towards the city of Riverside, authorities said.

Leos was shot and killed last Friday, May 21, when his mother Joanna Cloonan was driving on the freeway, California State Route 55. She reportedly said the suspect vehicle cut them off, and she flipped the bird, said a witness to the aftermath.

“There was a car behind me that cut me off abruptly,” Cloonan told KABC. “I was in the carpool lane with my son. And as I started to merge away from them. I heard a really loud noise and my son said ‘Ow.’”

Aiden was riding in the back on a booster seat.

“There was road rage on the freeway and someone pulled out a gun and shot my little brother in the stomach, and he said, ‘Mommy, my tummy hurts,’” his sister Alexis Cloonan told the outlet.

Initially, the incident didn’t get much play but that has changed recently as rewards grow and law enforcement reveals continue to multiply.

“I want the two individuals in that vehicle to understand: this is Orange County, California. This is not Los Angeles or San Francisco. … I’m running out of patience,” Spitzer said. “It’s time to turn yourself in. It’s time to understand that the longer this goes on, the less sympathetic I will be to understanding why you did what you did.”

KTLA’s Chip Yost reported that growing reward fund is now at least $310,000 and that CHP is asking witnesses to come forward. In particular, they are looking for anyone who may have dashcam or cellphone video that was taken on the northbound 55 near the 22 Freeway and Chapman between 7:15 and 8:15 a.m. last Friday.

As the rewards grow, Spitzer’s warnings grow sterner. Yes, this is Orange County, once an urban mecca of megapolis conservatism…30 years ago. The Leftward tilt of Orange County has been steady and disarming. Conservative, compared to L.A., yes; compared to reality, hardly. Ultimately, Orange County’s vestigial conservative leanings are consumed and spit out by California’s monstrous Democratic machine.

That doesn’t stop Wild Todd Spitzer, town marshall.

“Now, as we understand it, there are two of you,” Orange County District Attorney Todd Spitzer said in a Thursday news conference. “A woman driving a car and a male in the front seat. As we understand it, the male pulled the trigger. We will catch you.”

Investigators said that after the shooting, the car continued northbound on the 55 Freeway and then eastbound on the 91 Freeway toward Riverside.

As for the memorial over the freeway, it continued to grow just as the reward to catch Aiden’s killer.

“We’ll never stop and never rest until we put the person into custody and get justice,” Spitzer said.

Good luck with that.  The only way these killers will get justice in this state is if they are mowed down by police gunfire when they are apprehended.

Otherwise, I’m preparing to write a tax check to the state of California which will leniently go towards room and board for the driver and guman.
