Trying to reimagine Obama as not a twat

It’s irrefutable. I live for his drivel.  It possesses me;  it’s mental illness, surely, and I must get that diagnosed.

I relish each time Barack Obama spouts more of his patented tiresome Inspiration Speak, and what is the guy if not a squishy bundle of feel-goods smothered in gooey mounds of Inspiration Speak?  Does he ever say anything substantial or provocative?  Is the wisdom of this mundane “sage” all we ask for of “great minds” in this post-digital world?

And in the case of Daunte Wright, another youth whose inability to simply stay still led to his demise at the hands of police, Obama defaults to his tropeness.

Former President Barack Obama said the U.S. needs to “reimagine” how law enforcement works following the death of Daunte Wright, who was shot by a police officer in a Minneapolis suburb on Sunday.

REIMAGINE

That sounds like some serious, no-holds barred Obama Inspiration Speak to me.

Do we assume he knows what his words mean?  Does he even know? Or are they a cynical semantic ploy to signal servile virtuosity that lulls mainstream idiots into ideological compliance by soothing instead of challenging?

Perhaps incidents like Wright’s encounter need to be viewed as challenges to the public’s common sense behavior in interactions with police officers. Obama predictably places the onus on police with his carefully structured gobbledygook. Between rote platitudes and mushy sympathizing, he ultimately rests the blame entirely on police officers when an “innocent child” dies at their hands.

“Reimagine how law enforcement works” pontificates Obama. Let’s not just ponder; let’s reimagine.  That a much loftier Utopian Obama trope.

I’d suggest, as a way of counteracting Obama’s Inspiration Speak, a dose of Ugly Truth Speak.  Courtesy, me.

Let’s reimagine how being a police detainee works.
Let’s imagine doing what we’re ordered for a few minutes. Let’s imagine not making abrupt movements that might be construed as threatening to people who don’t live inside our heads because believe it or not, people don’t.

Let’s imagine submitting to authority for a moment. I know that is difficult considering most of these dead people were not trained to heed or respond to parental authority in their lives, but whose fault is that?

Most pressing, let’s imagine a world without twats.
